No, only the the hash imprint can be derived through a one way function from the original file but not the other way around. It is impossible to derive the original document or file contents using the cryptographic hash imprint. Therefore only if you have the original file, you can verify that the document is unaltered and original.

We hash all documents to our Blockchain and each document will be timestamped. This guarantees that you can verify your rights / ownership about any document or data uploaded at a particular point in time. As described above, there is no way to retrieve the document from just knowing the hash. Only if you share the document or data together with the hash, can your rights be determined correctly.
